- Venue decoration ideas for a Haunted Horrors Party:
- Tealights in brown paper bags with sand
- Chalk/tape outline of a murdered body on the floor
- For an amazing effect, purchase dry ice from your local ice dealer to create smoky drinks and punch
- Chopping block or dart board with a knife through a photo
- Fake legs sticking out from furniture
- Sand in brown paper bags and tea lights or candles inside
- Red carpet entry
- Oil lanterns outside
- Stars, moons and witches hats on doors, walls and hanging from ceiling
- Champagne with red food colouring on entry or a cheaper option is lemonade in fancy glasses
- Black balloons spread around the floor and combine helium and air filled
- Fake cobwebs spread between plates on the table and over a mantelpiece
- Horror posters from the local video store
- Print some photos of horror stars from the internet or cut them out of magazines for the walls (consider sticking photos of your guests faces over the real faces)

- Write in lipstick on mirrors and windows
- Make some chocolate or cardboard crosses and coffins
- Make signs for doors saying Ghouls Only, Transylvania, Slaughter House, Morticians Room etc.
- If you have a large television screen or projector, play an iconic horror movie or video recording WITHOUT sound flickering during the night
- Spotify/MP3s that has famous horror movie theme tunes to play during the night
Costume ideas: Please dress as a ghost, ghoul, vampire, demon, devil, troll, zombie, soldier, monster, witch, werewolf or any other horror themed character.
